  12. I recently performed a couple of upgrades to my PC and now my X1541
  13. cable does not work! Damn PC's!

  15. THe upgrades were a 486SX 33mhz to a 83 mhz Pentium Overdrive
  16. processor and a Double speed CD-Rom to a Quad Speed CD-rom with the
  17. addition of a CD-ROM Interface Card for the IDE connection.

  19. Based on the documentation I have been reading, I tend to think that
  20. the interface card may be screwing up something with the Sync of the
  21. Printer Port? Could this be? If that is the case, maybe I sould buy a
  22. Sound Blaster Sound card which has an IDE interface on it, or would
  23. the same results happen?

  25. Or, does a Pentium Overdrive Processor not work with the X1541 cable.
  26. I kinda find this hard to believe, but you never know. I have been
  27. using Star Commander which I thought automatically configures the
  28. timing for the PC. Do I need to slow the PC down? If so what is the
  29. best way.

  31. Any Help would be appreciated as I am sure my wife will not let me put
  32. the old parts back in the Computer! .
